Golden Spikes Coaches

NCBA’s Golden Spikes College Prospect Program sets itself apart from other teams by bringing in a diverse group of the very best coaches in the area, and we’re always looking to add to the coaching staff!

Our coaching staff typically consists of 3 Head Coaches and 5-6 Assistant Coaches that are Current and Former High School Coaches, former Professional players/coaches, and former college players from ALL levels.
Our coaches provide our players with a practice environment that you just can’t find anywhere else. Coaches with strong backgrounds in infield, outfield, pitching, and catching oversee each player’s development in their skills, hitting, and strength/conditioning.

The Golden Spikes are partnered with William Bradley Sports Performance (the TOP speed trainer in NC) for all our speed and agility development. After each practice, players will go through running drills with Will and his Staff, as well as strength training with the Spikes coaching staff.

The Golden Spikes Coaching Staff is headlined and hand selected by 17u Head Coach and Owner of the North Carolina Baseball Academy – Scott Bankhead.
